The Wall of Healing and Hope is on a tour of the city. While having spent time at the high schools and City Hall, the wall is moving on. It will be on display at the Blessed Sacrament Church (127 Holyoke Road) the weekend of February 18th and 19th and is looking for its next temporary home.
The purpose for having the wall travel is to bring it out into the community and raise awareness of those coping with the disease and its aftermath. Any business or organization interested in hosting the wall may email the task force at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“The wall was created in an effort to give people a tangible place where they can come grieve and reflect, but it was also created to give people a message of hope.” - Kathy Sitler, Task Force
