On Saturday, April 21, 2018, please join Westfield Mayor Brian Sullivan in cleaning up the Westfield community for our 6th Annual Earth Day event. Starting at 8:00 am, we will congregate on the grounds of the Masonic Lodge at 72 Broad Street to start the day with a good breakfast. From there you will receive your assignments for clean-up areas and will be provided with gloves, bags and safety vests. This is a rain or shine event, please dress appropriately.
At 1:00 the day will end back at 72 Broad Street with a lunch served and presented by the Masonic Lodge and their members. If you or a community group you are associated with are interested in signing up to help out, please contact Karen Leigh, Conservation Director at 572-6281.
Please pre-register for groups of 5 or more!
Mayor Brian P. Sullivan: “While we celebrate Earth Day once a year, there is no reason not to clean up your community at your convenience. If you aren’t able to join us on Earth Day, designate some time to clean up a place near to you. I appreciate your help.”
