As we navigate through these uncertain times together as a Community, the Parks and Recreation Department is working closely with Mayor Humason’s Office, Joe Rouse, the Public Health Department and looking forward to the next Governor’s orders of phrase 2 on June 8.
As of Monday, May 25, All Parks and Playgrounds will be open to the public under safety guidelines. You can still enjoy time outdoors at Municipal: Papermill, Sadie Knox, Chapman, Munger Hill, Whitney, Arm Brook, Boardman, Kane/Wojtkiewicz, Half Mile Falls, Parker Park, Women’s Temperance and Park Square areas along with bike trails, for passive use such as walking, jogging, biking, or leisure time activities for individuals or families.
All basketball courts, bathrooms and spray parks are CLOSED until further notice.
Please continue to check our website, and posts for any further updates at www.cityofwestfield.org or for program information and to register on line at westfieldmaparksrec.com or you can mail or use the drop-off box for all registrations. If you need assistance, please call the office staff at (413) 572-6263. Any changes to programs will be listed on the website.
