Public Input Requested for Main Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements

Mass DOT Logo

MassDOT is in the preliminary design phase for Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements along Main Street (US-20), from Meadow Street to Delmont Avenue, and is looking for public input.

The goal of this project is to improve pedestrian safety, transit accommodations, and provide connectivity for people walking and biking on existing and planned shared use paths and trails in Westfield, MA.

MassDOT has created a website for constituents to share where they have challenges using this corridor as a pedestrian, bicyclist, or transit user. The website does not show project alternatives now, but focuses on collecting feedback from users. This input will be helpful in ensuring they address user needs in their design.

Share your feedback about your experience walking, biking, and taking transit on the Main Street corridor between Meadow Street and Delmont Avenue. Please respond by 11/15/2020.
