Fireworks For Freedom Celebration

Mayor Michael A. McCabe announced that the City will hold its annual “Fireworks for Freedom” celebration on Sunday, June 25th, at Westfield Middle School Field on West Silver Street. The event represents a return to traditional celebration of Independence Day with musical entertainment from Korey & The Knightsmen, food vendors, and a fireworks show from Atlas Pyrotechnics.

The Presenting Sponsor for the 2023 Fireworks for Freedom is Westfield Gas & Electric & Whip City Fiber. Additional sponsors are also being sought. Donations can be made out to City of Westfield/Fireworks Fund, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085.

The Middle School lawn will be open at 5:00 pm that evening. The Mayor thanks the Westfield Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Public Works, the Greater Westfield Boys & Girls Club, and the Westfield Public Schools for their contributions to this event.
