[ARCHIVED] National Coffee With A Cop Day

Coffee with a Cop

The Westfield Police Department is partnering with Circuit Coffee to bring you a morning of informal conversation with Westfield Police Officers on October 5, 2022, from 8 am to 11 am, for National Coffee With a Cop Day.  The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens we serve.  Taking time to meet at neutral locations provides the opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter.

Since its inception in 2011 in Hawthorne, California, Coffee with a Cop events have spread internationally and have served to build trust and help foster a sense of community in communities large and small. From huge cities to small farming towns police agencies have embraced this event as a way to connect with residents and get to know each other over a cup of coffee.

Although Westfield has participated in several Coffee with a Cop events in the past, the last two years have been tough, on everyone.  We are excited to be back out in the community meeting and chatting face to face.  Please join us Wednesday, October 5, from 8 to 11 am at Circuit Coffee, 22 Elm Street in Westfield.  We look forward to meeting you!
