PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY: Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Early Voting: Saturday, February 24, 2024 through Friday, March 1, 2024.

SPECIAL WARD 5 MUNICIPAL ELECTION: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 7:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Nomination papers available February 16, 2024 through March 15, 2024 in the City Clerk's Office. 

 2024 Annual Street Listing/Census must be returned within 10 days.  Return before June 1st in order to avoid becoming an Inactive Voter!  Census Information

  • "Independent" or Unenrolled voters CAN vote in Massachusetts Primaries!  How to Vote in a Primary
  • Need to register to vote, change your Party Affiliation or change your address?  www.registertovotema.com .  All voter registrations and changes to voter status must be made 10 days before an election.
  •  Ward 2 Polling Location Change- Ward 2 Precinct A, Ward 2 Precinct A1 and Ward 2 Precinct B moved to the Westfield Senior Center located at 45 Noble Street effective May 18, 2023.
  • Apply for a Mail-In Ballot ONLINE or submit a Vote by Mail application - available to all registered voters for the 2024 State and Federal Elections.  PLEASE NOTE:  For Primary Elections,  "Independent" or Unenrolled voters MUST choose a party ballot (Democrat, Libertarian or Republican) on their application.  Once a party ballot is mailed, you CANNOT exchange it for a different party ballot per MGL Chapter 53, Section 37A .
  • All 2024 Mail-In Ballot requests must be received by the City Clerk's Office no later than 5 PM on the fifth business day before Election Day.
  • 2024 Election Dates - March 5, 2024 (Presidential Primary Election), September 3, 2024 (State Primary), November 5, 2024 (Presidential Election)
  • Submit election/voter questions & completed Absentee or Mail-In Ballot applications via email to votewestfield@cityofwestfield.org
