On Thursday, March 22, 2018, members of the Westfield Crime Free Multi Housing Group met and received a lecture and presentation on the eviction process in Massachusetts. This group has been meeting regularly for almost 15 years and covers a wide range of topics all based on helping landlords and property owners better navigate the sometimes murky waters of their business.
This past Thursday, Laura J. Fenn , Assistant Clerk Magistrate of the Western Division Housing Court, and Attorney Stanley Komack, presented to a filled room of approximately 50 landlords and property owners. The topics covered included the different types of leases and rental agreements, evictions for cause, lease and rental terminations, tenants at will, tenants at sufferance, and so much more!
Don't worry if you missed this important meeting. The Westfield Crime Free Multi Housing Group meets on the fourth Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2018, 6:00 pm, at Shaker Farms Country Club. Check back on this web site for more information about guest speakers.
