[ARCHIVED] Construction Update - Paper Mill Road Detour - Thursday 7/19 & Friday 7/20

Lanes will be milling a section of Paper Mill Road between Mockingbird Lane and the intersection of Joseph Ave and Paper Mill Road today Thursday 7/19/18 and is expected to be completed by end of day on Friday 7/20/18.  Expected detour hours are approximately 7am to 5pm.  


Normal Passenger Vehicles:

Northbound passenger car traffic will be sent on the following detour:


Paper Mill Road to Mockingbird Lane

Left turn onto Partridge Lane

Right turn onto Marla Circle

Left turn onto Woodcliff Drive

Left turn onto Christopher Drive

Left turn onto Amy Drive

Left turn onto Joseph Ave and back out to Paper Mill Road

 

Southbound passenger car traffic will be sent the exact opposite direction above.  


Detour signs are in place along the entire route in BOTH directions.  Detail officers are in place on either end of the detour as well as an officer in place working with the milling crew to assist any residential traffic.


Truck Traffic:

 

All truck traffic will be detoured and sent an alternate route.  Message boards have been in place warning of the pending construction.

 

All southbound truck traffic will be turned around and sent back out to East Mountain Road for destinations south & east by using Holyoke Road to North Elm (to Union if needed). 

 

All northbound truck traffic will be turned around, sent back to Union and advised to use North Elm to Holyoke Road.
