Last week marked the start of the Phase 1 of the Western Avenue Improvements.  Work is underway between Lloyds Hill Road and Llewellyn Drive with multiple contractors performing various work along this corridor.  Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek an alternate route as delays are expected from both construction as well as commuter traffic to/from Westfield State University.
