Pavement Management

The City of Westfield is continually working toward improving and maintaining the condition of its accepted road network to the extent its afforded, mainly through annual appropriations in departmental budgets and its apportionment of MassDOT's Chapter 90 program.

While it truly is a collaborative effort to manage the pavement conditions of the approximately 190 miles of accepted roadways, the City's Engineering Department facilitates and directs roadway resurfacing projects while also assisting in preventative maintenance, as well as utilizes pavement management software to develop strategic, cost-effective planning for paving projects.

2025 (Fall): Apremont Way, Ascutney Avenue, Clinton Street, Delmont Avenue, Honey Pot Road, Loomis Street (south of Munn Brook to Southwick TL), Lower Sandy Hill Road, Reed Street, South Maple Street, Verona Street, Western Circle.

2025 (Summer): Dewey Avenue, Dudley Avenue, Floral Avenue, Linden Avenue, Maple Terrace, Margerie Street, Myrtle Street, Riverside Drive, and Squawfield Road.
